| THE SEVEN WONDERS OF UKRAINE |

| First on the list is Pechersk Lavra or the Cave Monastery, a historic Orthodox Christian monastery in Kiev. Founded as a cave monastery in 11th century Lavra is listed in the UNESCO list of world heritage sites. It is one of the oldest and most important monasteries in the country and Eastern Europe. Its Great Lavra Belltower is one of the most notable features of the Kiev skyline and among the main attractions of the Lavra. It was the tallest free-standing belltower at the time of its construction in 1731-1745. Its total height is 96.5 meters. The list is completed by Sofiyivsky Park, Kamyanets-Podilskyi Castle, Khortytsia Island, Chersonesos, Saint Sophia Cathedral, Khotyn Fortress. |

KIEV, MOTHER OF ALL SLAVIC CITIES
The Golden Gates of Kiev were in the past the main entrance in Kiev, between 11th and 18th centuries. Tenants used to name them Kiev's Heaven's Gates. The Gates resemble the famous entrance in Constantinople. Prince Yaroslav The Wise, son of Prince Vladimir, built them at the beginning of the 11th century to show the world that his country can be as powerful as the Byzantine Empire.

ODESSA, THE PEARL OF THE BLACK SEA
Rome has Fontana di Trevi, Paris has the Eiffel Tower. Odessa has the Potemkin Stairs (Потёмкинская Лестница). Built in 1837 and site of the famous baby carriage scene in Eisenstein's film "Battleship Potemkin", the Potemkin Steps are the best place in the city to view the bay and busy harbour.

THE CRIMEAN BEACHES
The Crimean coast is long for about 517 km, consisting of clean golden beaches. In the east, the beaches are composed of black volcanic sand, while in the west there are silver beaches. Many of these beaches are public. On the main tourist beaches you can find opportunities for travel by yacht, skydiving, surfing and more.

THE ODESSA BEACHES
The Odessa beach, which actually is made up of several beaches running for some 20 km or more, has a sea wall and many scales provided with restaurants, bars and clubs. During the summer, the Lanzheron, Otrada and Delfin beaches are wall-to-wall people. Arkadia beach is the largest and most developed, famous for its nonstop nightlife.
